When To Act
Most shower problems start behind the tile, where you can't see them. Here's when a shower is telling you it needs to be repaired or replaced.
When grout cracks or tile loosens, water slips behind the wall. Left alone, it rots the framing and feeds mold long before you ever see a stain.
Standing water and slow drains usually mean the pan or its slope has failed. A reseal won't fix it — the base has to be rebuilt.
A constant musty smell or spreading dark spots point to water trapped behind the wall, not just surface mildew you can wipe away.
Cracked caulk, a rusting door frame, or a tired surround let water escape and make the whole bathroom feel older than it is.
What We Install
Whatever look and budget you're working with — a fresh build, a tub-to-shower conversion, or a repair — we start with a properly waterproofed base so the shower performs for years. Here's what we install.

Porcelain, ceramic, or natural marble over a fully waterproofed wall and pan, with niches, benches, and barrier-free, curbless options available. A one-of-a-kind look built on a membrane that drains and stays sealed for years.

Non-porous acrylic and solid-surface walls install faster and have no grout lines to scrub or reseal. It's the value choice when you want a clean, durable shower without the upkeep of tile.

We finish showers with frameless or semi-frameless glass and replace old, foggy, or leaking doors. A clean glass enclosure opens up the room and is far easier to keep spotless than a framed unit.

When the problem is the base, we replace failed pans, re-slope and re-waterproof, regrout, and chase leaks down at the source. It's the part most remodelers skip — and the reason showers fail twice.

Why Choose Verano

We're a family-owned bathroom remodeling specialist — showers and baths are all we do, so we do them well. Most companies sell you either tile or a one-day acrylic liner; we install both and tell you honestly which fits your budget and how you live.
Verano is also one of the few who will repair a failing shower instead of only replacing it. Every job is built on a properly waterproofed base, priced upfront with no surprises, and backed by a lifetime manufacturer warranty on the products we use. Financing is available, and we're licensed and insured.
It's the same standard behind everything at Verano Bathroom Remodeling — quality products, fair pricing, and a shower done right the first time. You can browse recent shower builds on our Naples bathroom remodeling page. Prefer to add a soaking tub back instead? We handle shower-to-tub conversions too.
Questions, Answered
It depends mostly on the size of the shower and the materials you choose — a compact acrylic shower sits at the low end, a large custom-tile shower at the high end. National figures generally put a shower remodel between about $4,000 and $12,000. We give you one fixed, written price at the consult so you're not guessing.
In a like-for-like shower rebuild we usually leave the drain and water lines exactly where they are, which keeps both the price and the timeline down. We only move the valve or drain when you want to change the footprint — and we'll tell you what that adds before you decide, so there's no surprise on the invoice.
Both are good — it comes down to look, budget, and upkeep. Acrylic is non-porous, costs less, installs faster, and has no grout to maintain. Tile and marble give you a custom, higher-end look but take more labor and need occasional grout care. We bring samples of both so you can decide in person.
Sometimes it's a simple regrout or reseal; often the leak is a failed waterproof layer or pan underneath, which a surface fix won't solve. We open it up, find the real source, and tell you straight whether a repair or a replacement is the smarter spend.
We remove the old base, rebuild the slope so water actually reaches the drain, install a new waterproof membrane and pan, then set your tile or acrylic on top. Done right, the pan is what keeps the shower from leaking again years down the road.
Yes to both. We install frameless and semi-frameless glass on new showers, and we can swap out an old, foggy, or leaking door without redoing the whole shower. A clean glass enclosure makes the bathroom feel bigger and is much easier to keep clean.
